MEMBERS EXHIBITION
Members Exhibition. Works adorning the walls at the Newcastle Printmakers Workshop. All works are unframed in the form of collagraphs, etchings, screenprints and linocut prints.
Viewing times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30am - 12.30pm
This members’ exhibition is inspired by our love of the coast and being drawn to coastal environments: beach, rock pools and wildlife. Each artists captures their experiences of coastal landscapes and the activities we enjoy there: shell collecting, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and fishing. Works cover many printmaking techniques suchas, screen printing, linocut printing, collagraphy, etchings to name a few.
Opening Hours: Sat & Sun 10am-4pm. The Exhibition has been extended until 30 April 2025.

EXHIBITION
SYNERGY A collaborative exhibition of prints and ceramics where members of Newcastle Printmakers Workshop and the Newcastle Studio Potters have teamed up to produce 25 prints and 25 clay works.
Exhibition dates: 12-28 September 2025 at Back to Back Galleries, Newcastle.
Two workshops to be run as part of the Synergy collaboration:
Screen Printing onto Clay 21-22 June 2025
Lino Printing & Clay 5-6 July 2025
Cost: $200 current NPW & NSP Members only.

SUNDAY - Newcastle Studio Potters, Back to Back Gallery, Cooks Hill.
This course is for members of Newcastle Printmakers Workshop & Newcastle Studio Potters.
DAY 1: Learn the basics of coating, exposing and printing screens. Print a background colour onto quality paper using acrylic inks. Print their design on the background.
DAY 2: Make clay pieces for printing. Screen print onto clay or tissue (for transfer onto clay pieces). Explore applying prints to shapes and forms. All materials supplied.
NB There will be an additional $20 for firing if required- payable directly to the tutor.
